Meet Hailey
Haley Dibble continues to impress the community of Casper, Wyoming with her Lemonade Stand creativity. 2016 was her second year as a lemonade stand owner, and she has learned valuable lessons during the business development process. Molly Wartenbee, Haley’s aunt, recalls the importance of Lemonade Day, “The kids learn practical, everyday skills such as the value of a dollar”. Haley has risen to the challenge of creating new and creative ideas for her stand, and employs her brother, Brady, and cousin, Cooper. Their combined efforts are hard to miss!
Haley has a few tips for others who are thinking about becoming Lemonade Day business owners. First- build a quality stand. Haley has used the same stand now for 2 years, but completely remodels it to fit her theme. This way, she is able to reuse and recycle the stand itself, which keeps her initial costs low. Second- get the family involved. Her entire family looks forward to helping out with the stand each year, and for years to come.
In 2015, her “Wyoming” theme stand was a crowd favorite for its local flavor and Wyoming pride. In 2016, Haley and her crew embraced the idea of a “Firehouse” themed stand. When asked to explain how she came up with the “Firehouse” theme, we were delighted to learn that she comes from a family of firefighters. Haley always has uniforms for her and her employees, and her t-shirts reflect the theme of the stand as well as clearly identify her as the “Boss” (Wyoming theme) and the “Chief” (Firehouse theme). When thinking about how she could give back to the Casper community, Haley came up with a brilliant idea. The week prior to Lemonade Day, she and her crew pick a day to set up shop outside of Rocky Mountain Oncology, a local cancer center. They set up their stand and give out free lemonade and treats to the doctors, nurses and patients. This is a great way to serve our community, and also helps her team to practice and prepare to open their business on Lemonade Day. Haley is our Casper Lemonade Day Superstar, and we cannot wait to see what she, Brady, and Cooper have in store for 2017.
